Perennial engages with the theme of momentum through repetition, rhythm and material contrast. The work comprises identical hand chased brass and oxidised copper elements, abstracted from the lines and structures of the fennel bulb, revealing the intimate trace of the artist's hand. Through the accumulation of these forms, the piece generates a visual and tactile progression that suggests movement and organic growth.
